Supporting OECI Accreditation for a Comprehensive Cancer Center

Hero image

Strategic and operational support to help Greece's leading oncology hospital "Agios Savvas" achieve accreditation as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the Organization of European Cancer Institutes (OECI).

The Challenge

Achieving OECI accreditation as a Comprehensive Cancer Center requires hospitals to meet rigorous standards across quality management, patient safety, data governance, cancer patient pathways, and organizational capacity. For a public hospital operating under significant resource constraints, this process demands structured external expertise and sustained institutional commitment.

Our Approach

We provided end-to-end strategic and technical support to “Agios Savvas” Hospital throughout the accreditation process. Our work spanned organizational capacity building, development of quality and risk management plans, staff training, data collection and KPI analysis, optimization of the cancer patient journey, and coordination with external partners — all tailored to the specific requirements of OECI standards.
